Why subscribe?

Hi. My name is Leon. I used to be a journalist and editor; now I work as a brand manager and communications specialist. I was born in one of the former Soviet countries, but I’ve lived in the EU for a while now. Back home, people were never really valued — treated as a resource at best, an obstacle at worst. Agency and personal freedom weren’t part of the conversation.

I’d rather work with people, dig into culture, and keep finding something new in human nature.

Right now I’m trying to understand where the world is heading: the age of AI, fast-moving technology, a crisis of values, a shaky economy, information overload. And I’m genuinely curious how we’ll handle all of it.
